Design Something Every Day – Day 24

Fed up with not actually “designing” anything myself, today I tried to semi-do something myself, using this as inspiration. Results? Dismal. I don’t know what is wrong with my brain, but it is an idiot that can’t make things look good. Booooo brain. Anyways, here are some circles.

Design Something Every Day – Day 23

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan! I really wanted to do something exciting today. Something a bit more… epic? That is definitely not the right word. But you knawmean. Just copying basic tutorials everyday is all well and good when I’ve not got much time in the evenings, but on the weekend there’s no excuse. Except I didn’t wake up until 3pm, and didn’t feel like doing anything all afternoon. BLEH. I guess the week took it out of me good and proper.

Oh well. At least I did something today. I made a fishbowl! Instruction here

So I’m thinking that Illustrator might not be the best for 3D rendering. Or maybe I’m not the best for 3D rendering. Either way, this vase – not great! With a little help from n.design

Design Something Every Day – Day 21

Continuing on with the shiny theme shown earlier in the week, today I have made a pin/button/badge (depending on where in the world you are from). I’ve used the techniques shown here, combined with the STBY logo made here! One big button doesn’t work as nicely as several smaller ones as demonstrated on the tutorial page, but nevermind.

It’s nearly the weekend! I’m hoping to combine some of the things shown over the last few days into something nice on Saturday and/or sunday. Fingers crossed!

PRETTY! I made some wavey lines. And a rectangle, but that’s less interesting. WAVEY LINES.
