Design Something Every Day – Day 19

It’s getting late and I’m getting tired so today is another ridiculously easy Illustrator tutorial. I’m gonna have to branch out form these soon, but that’s going to involve more and effort and planning than I’d like…

Still carrying on with the tutorial theme. The benefit of doing this is that I don’t need to do any actual creative thinking of my own, which is the main problem I have with design work. Which is kind of the whole point of doing this – to encourage the creativity… whoops. At least I can pretend that all this using Illustrator is good practice and definitely worthwhile. We all know that’s not quite true, but shhhhh.

Design Something Every Day – Day 16

I’m still working through Illustrator tutorials for the time being, as I’m finding them really useful for introducing me to techniques that I’d not used before. Today’s design was a bit more involved than previous tutorials, which makes a nice change from the rush jobs that I’ve done during the past week. Hooray for weekends!
